MPO Ferrules
The ferrule is a precision component in MPO (Multi-fiber Push-On) connectors that serves to secure and precisely align multiple optical fibers, with its key functions including fiber positioning to ensure each fiber’s correct alignment during connection, mechanical protection to shield fibers from damage during insertion or removal, and optical alignment through high-precision holes (V-grooves or multi-hole arrays) to achieve tight contact between fiber end-faces and minimize optical signal loss.
